Refund and Return Policy - Yuma Photo Magnets

Important Notice About Custom Products

All our products are custom-made specifically for you using your personal photos.

Because each order is personalized and produced on-demand:

  • We CANNOT accept returns for change of mind
  • We CANNOT offer refunds except for defective products
  • Production begins immediately after order confirmation
  • All sales are final once production starts

Our Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our products. We will provide a replacement or refund ONLY if your product has a manufacturing defect.


What Qualifies as a Defect?

Covered Defects (Eligible for Replacement or Refund)

We will replace or refund products with:

Printing Defects:

  • Blurry or out-of-focus printing (not caused by low-resolution photo)
  • Significantly faded or washed-out colors
  • Ink smudges or streaks
  • Incorrect colors (not due to screen calibration differences)
  • Printing on wrong surface or orientation

Material Defects:

  • Missing or defective magnetic backing
  • Damaged corners or edges (from manufacturing, not shipping)
  • Warped or bent magnets
  • Surface scratches or damage (from manufacturing)

Order Errors:

  • Wrong size shipped
  • Wrong quantity shipped
  • Missing items from order

NOT Covered (Not Eligible for Refund)

We CANNOT provide refunds or replacements for:

Photo Quality Issues:

  • Low-resolution photos resulting in pixelated prints
  • Photos too dark, too bright, or poorly composed (as uploaded)
  • Color differences due to screen calibration
  • Photos that looked fine on screen but poor when printed (if resolution was adequate)

Normal Variations:

  • Minor color variations between screen and print
  • Slight differences in print shade between orders
  • Minor edge variations within tolerance

Customer Responsibility:

  • Wrong photos uploaded
  • Incorrect spelling in custom text
  • Change of mind about design
  • Ordered wrong size or quantity
  • No longer need the product

Shipping Damage:

  • Products damaged by USPS during shipping (see Shipping Damage section)

User Error:

  • Provided wrong shipping address
  • Refused delivery
  • Package left unattended and stolen (we recommend insurance for valuable orders)

How to Report a Defect

Time Limit

You must report defects within 7 days of delivery.

Reporting Process

Step 1: Contact Us Email us at: orders@yumaphotomagnets.com

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Description of the defect
  • Clear photos showing the defect
  • Photos of the packaging (if damaged)

Step 2: Review We will review your claim within 2 business days and respond with:

  • Approval for replacement or refund, OR
  • Request for additional information, OR
  • Explanation if claim does not qualify

Step 3: Resolution If approved:

  • Replacement: New product ships within 3-5 business days at no charge
  • Refund: Full refund processed within 5-7 business days
  • Return: We may request you return the defective product

Shipping Damage

USPS Damage During Transit

If your order arrives damaged due to shipping:

Pickup Orders:

  • Inspect your order at pickup
  • Report any damage immediately before leaving

Shipped Orders:

  1. Save all packaging - Box, padding, shipping label
  2. Take photos - Package exterior and damaged product
  3. Contact us within 48 hours - Email orders@yumaphotomagnets.com
  4. We will file a claim with USPS and send a replacement

Note: We are not responsible for USPS delays or damage, but we will work with you to resolve issues.


Replacement Process

For Approved Defects

  1. Production: Replacement printed within 1-2 business days
  2. Shipping: Same shipping method as original order
  3. Tracking: You will receive tracking information
  4. Return: Original defective product may need to be returned (we'll provide prepaid label if required)

Rush Replacements

If you need your replacement urgently:

  • Contact us to discuss rush options
  • Rush fees may apply
  • Available on case-by-case basis

Refund Process

When Refunds Are Issued

Refunds are provided when:

  • Product defect cannot be replaced in time for your event
  • We cannot fulfill the replacement order
  • You prefer a refund over replacement (at our discretion)

Refund Method

  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-7 business days
  • May take additional 3-5 days to appear in your account

Refund Amount

  • Full refund: Product price + original shipping cost
  • Partial refund: For partial defects (some magnets OK, some defective)

What Is NOT Refunded

  • Return shipping costs (unless we provide prepaid label)
  • Rush shipping fees (unless defect was our fault)

Cancellation Policy

Before Production Starts

You may cancel your order for a full refund if:

  • Order has not entered production (within 2 hours of ordering)
  • You contact us immediately at orders@yumaphotomagnets.com
  • We confirm production has not started

After Production Starts

Once production begins:

  • No cancellations accepted
  • No refunds provided
  • Products are custom-made and cannot be resold

How to Cancel

Email: orders@yumaphotomagnets.com with:

  • Order number
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Requested as soon as possible

Photo Upload Issues

Wrong Photos Uploaded

If you realize you uploaded the wrong photos:

BEFORE production:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We can update photos at no charge if caught in time

AFTER production:

  • We cannot offer refund or replacement
  • You may place a new order at full price

Tip: Always review your order confirmation email carefully!


Special Circumstances

Wedding or Event Emergencies

We understand how important deadlines are for weddings and events.

If there is a defect and your event is approaching:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will expedite replacement at no extra charge
  • We will work with you to find a solution

However: We cannot guarantee delivery by specific dates due to USPS variables.

Recommendation: Order well in advance of your event date (2-3 weeks minimum).

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages. If your state law provides additional protections, those rights still apply.


Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."


Summary

We WILL refund/replace: Defective products, order errors, manufacturing issues
We WILL NOT refund: Low-quality photos you uploaded, change of mind, wrong photos uploaded, normal color variations

Bottom Line: We want you to love your custom magnets! If there's a real defect, we'll make it right. But because these are custom products made just for you, we can't accept returns for other reasons.
